Newton Cricket Club

Newton Cricket Club currently runs two youth programs;

​

Dynamos Cricket for 8-11 years old.

Dynamos cricket is the new ECB program for making cricket more accessible for

children across the county.

​

All Stars Cricket (8 week program)

​

All Stars Cricket offers eight weeks of coaching in a safe and inclusive environment,

with the focus on having fun and making friends.

All girls and boys are welcome, and each registered child will receive a pack of

cricket goodies including a cricket bat, ball, backpack, water bottle, personalized

shirt and cap to keep, so that they can continue their love of cricket when they go

home. Children involved in 2018 will receive different kit in year 2 including a set

of stumps.

All Stars Cricket will provide your child with all of the fundamental skills they need

to play cricket through, lively, fun games.

Over the eight-week programme, the trained activators will teach your child to:

​

• Catch and throw a ball

• Hit a moving ball

• Bowl with a straight arm

• Play a basic game of cricket

• Work and communicate as a team

• Have lots of fun with new friends

All Stars Cricket is also fantastic for parents. For an hour a week all mums and dads are invited to get involved and play cricket with their children. We know this is a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime.
